Well my headlights died on my tempo so i went and bought new ones put them in and nothing happened. Checked ALL the fuses (since there was no mentioned headlight fuse named on the glove box map) but they were all good. So now just trying to get some help tips from fellow tempo owners before taking it to a shop and spending ridiculous amounts of money for them to have a look. o forgot to mention that the day time lights work and high beams work too.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since the daytime lights and the high beams work, you can rule out the light switch on the dash. And since both high beams work and both low beams don't work, it's PROBABLY not a wiring issue to one headlight side or the other. That may narrow the problem down to the high/low switch on the steering column. I've seen in other forums where that switch sometimes goes bad causing similar symptoms to yours. I've not had that problem on my '94 Tempo (knock on wood!), but I've heard that getting to that switch is not difficult and is fairly inexpensive to buy, if you want to do it yourself.
