Does anyone know for SURE if a '93 Tempo with the 3.0 V6 with the automatic trans has a lock up torque converter??????????? Mine does not lock up if it's suppose to.. Thanx Daveg

I'm betting it does. May be a faulty torque converter lockup solenoid.

Thanx for the reply, I went to the local AAMCO, the guys there told me that Ford made such a crappy lock-up converter for that trans that the last 3 or 4 years they put it in the Tempo that it did not have a lock up converter, they seemed to be pretty intelligent and straight guys, so for now I'll take their word for it.
