sounds to me like it has them round plastic bushings in it... i change these out all the time in my cars.. i hate non working windows... a friend of mine made a video showing how the motor works and how to replace the plastic cylinder things that motor uses to contact and spin outer gear.. they cost roughly $4 to buy the pack of 3 and another $2-$3 for the bolts, washers, and nuts to put motor back in the door... not a fun type job, but cheaper than paying alot more for new motor, or repair specialist to fix
