Does anyone know what a "Fuel Saver" title means?
I recently bought a 93' Ford Tempo GL and it has the title
"fuel saver" on it. As far as I can tell it means it gives good gas mileage. Does anyone else have a Tempo registered as a
"fuel saver"?

don't mean to be an ass or anything, but is "fuel saver" a sticker the dealer put on the windshield? If so, it's just used car dealer propeganda

I told him it had the Fuel Saver title because it's registered on his titles. I've heard of them before, but never knew what they meant. I know the airbag equipped models were titled "Tempo GL EC". But like with those also, I don't know what they mean.

It doesn't say "fuel saver" on the car. Its not a sticker on the car. It just appears on the Registration and other documents, listed as a "Ford Tempo GL Fuel Saver".
