i recently acquired an 89' tempo GL. i was replacing the valve cover gasket and noticed that some of the bolts holding down the valve cover were had stretched threads, so it was leaking oil. heres the problem! i can NOT find them anywhere! i am in CT, and there is no ford dealer on the East coast of the USA that has them, and i have been told they can not get them either. i have also tried every junk yard in the tri- state area looking for a tempo in a yard somewhere and i have had no luck. so my car is useless until i can get these bolts.

WHERE DO I GET THEM!?!?! help

Not sure what's so special about them, but if you have a Fastenal or some other industrial fastener house nearby, they may have a suitable replacement.
