ok heres the deal. it won't stay running so I'm pretty sure the timing chain needs to be replaced. also the cooling fans come on a little late so the temp gauge gets a little high, but not in the red. the roof has a huge dent in it like something came out of the sky and hit it. and a couple of small dents with scrape marks behind the driverside rear passenger door. these 2 things were there when I bought the car about 8 months ago.
but here are some good things.
ALL NEW!!:
battery
starter
starter solenoid
injectors
fuel pump
fuel filter
spark plugs
spark plug wires
distributor
cap
rotor
distributor control module(connected to base of dis.)
ignition module
front brake calipers(not installed)
front brake pads
new water pump(not installed)
radiater(not installed)
new emissions pieces(can't remember them all)
emissions hoses
air flow sensor(plus an extra one, both have just been cleaned)
3 extra wheels
extra injectors( 8 or so)
extra emissions pieces
IRCM control module for the cooling and heating( $100+ part)
new valve cover gasket( but you might want to replace the bolt O-rings)
also the 92+ tempo tailights are installed so you get the originals as well
completely rebuilt transmission by Aamco, still under warranty for about 3,000 miles or however many months. it cost $2000 just for that alone!
I know and understand that its not easy to do the timing chain, but considering the rest its almost a new car. it make a great additional car, or parts car.
I'm looking to get 700 OBO. car runs great!, well it did before this happened. you can drive it all day long! I did. I'm a Toyota fanatic so if you have a toyota you might want to trade(80's model car or truck) let me know. I have an 89 MR2 that requires most of my time.
