jglen, it's got the V6 and automatic trans, 4dr.
Got car last week, didn't get to it till this week end, spent 2 days under the hood, anyway, found the coil was shorting out through the case to the metal outside E core, that seemed to be most of the problem, also found carbon tracks in the dist. cap and rotor looked like crap too, so changed out cap, rotor, plug wires, air filter, oil and filter, and the coil, oh and the thermostat that I found in pieces in the housing, then found the radiator leaking, so put a radiator in the darn thing, also cleaned up the ground connections on the body under the hood, all toll put $317 bucks in it, now have a very nice little mom and pop car, that rides great and will jump pretty good when you nail it, of course nothing like my '05 Mustang GT, but it sure rides a whole lot smoother, HAVE A QUESTION- does anyone know if a '93 Tempo LX 4dr. with the 3.0 V6 has the trans with a locking torque converter????????? Cause this one does not lock up. It shifts beautifully, from 1 to 2 to 3 and that's it, no lock up, does not seem to be screaming going down the road but a lock up would be nice if it's suppose to have one, so if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it very much, thanx to all, Daveg
