there is a V-belt that goes up towards the back of the engine, and to the crank pully.....i am wondering what this belt runs? it looks like a pump of some sort, but i am not sure....

also, my tempo's heater does not work....what are some solutions for this problem?

are u refering to the belt that runs to the ac pump on sum tempos?

if the heaters done, some good starts would be the thermostat and inspection of the heater hoses.
if it completly dont work might need a new heater core.

How is your heater NOT working? I know that my fan sometimes doesn't come on when I hit the button, but I have to stab at them over and over and it will kick on.

Does your fan work and doesn't put out hot air? Or is the fan dead too?

5 buks says he blew a fuse, check the heater fuse u should have a fuse box map in ur glovebox, on a sticker attached to it. and hopefully at least a manual there 2

He's talking about the V belt that runs the water pump. On 92-94's they had a single serp belt. But older cars had a serp for the AC, crank, and PS. Alternator was ran off of a V belt from the PS, and the water pump was run off of a V belt from the crank.
