Which wires to temporarly bypass neutral safety switch on 92 Tpoaz with a/t?

My sons car, 92 Topaz, nuetral safety switch keeps acting up and not working occasionaly. He does not have enough money for the next few week to get it repaired properly, so which of the 4 wires going to it can I temporarly connect to bypass it?

We are told they need to take the trans off to replace it, is this correct?

Re: Which wires to temporarly bypass neutral safety switch on 92 Tpoaz with a/t?

Figured it out myself. The connector hs 4 wires, 2 are for the back up lamps as this switch works as reverse switch as well, and 1 is power in, the other to the starter relay.
The white-pink comes from the ignition switch, the red-lt blue goes to the starter relay. Connect those 2 togeather with a jumper to bypass.

The other 2 wires, purple-orange, and black-pink are for the reverse lamps.

Stupid starting system has 2 relays, one on the fenderwell, and the other on the starter. Dumb, dumb, dumb.............
From the relay on the fenderwell, the thin black wire goes to the relay on the starter itself.
