Will 00 Motorsport Run the new AV Falcon? and if so when?

they will run an BARRA (AV) V8 Supercar starting next season, the rules do not allow for a Supercar to be homologated and used when a season is already underway.

But somehow Holden were allowed to run their VT in '98 were'nt they? :fmad:

They were, and after this happened avesco admitted the mistake they made and made it so it couldn't happen again.

AVESCO knew it was wrong to let Holden use the VT in '98 because it gave them a huge advantage and they still have'nt done anything about it have they?
AVESCO's stupid mistake has cost Ford dearly IMO .

I fail to see where it gave them an advantage, they had to carry over same aerodynamic kit for a car that was wider, and longer with different oveall shape to that which the kit was designed for.
And hell, it was fast out of the box, so it wasn't as if it started out as a dog and was developed to be a race winner in the last few rounds of the 98 season :wgaf:
