Question 2000 ford mustang traction control

I don't wish to appear dumb, but in laymen's terms can someone explain when to use my traction control and how it works? thanks

Every system is a little bit different & I can't say I recall how the system works on your 'Stang but personally I leave it on all the time & let the system sort it out.
Only turn it off for a bit of fun!!
