About the V8 brute utes

In the V8 brute utes can you race the new BA XR8? I heard a while ago that you cant ???

Although having said that Ian McAllister, the Young NSW Ford dealer runs in this series and updated his AU ute to BA appearance with new front panels and lights etc in Adelaide

And didnt it cause a mega stink!!

i managed to catch these yesterday on TV from the Adelaide round....

I can't believe that 2 utes from the same team went off in EXACTLY the same place and ended up exactly the same way - busted up with Coolant leaking all over the place...

What are the odds on that???

There was at least 1 VY ute on the track - the front doesn't look any better when it's smashed in....

Well guys I was at Symmons on the weekend, there were prob 3 BA utes and 3 VY's
BA's looked good on the track

I asked myself this a while ago.

From what I could find out on the brutes web page the Holden teams are allowed to use VY utes, but the Ford teams are only allowed to update the bodywork to BA, not use the BOSS engine.

My guess is that they havn't finalised the parity rules between the GEN3 and the BOSS 260 yet. It's gonna be some interesting racing when they do.
