Albert Park V8 Qualifying

http://www.grandprix.com.au/cars/eve.../d1_v8sc_q.pdf

Not looking good so far for the blue oval, only 2 Fords in the Top 10. FPR had a shocker, over 3 seconds off the pace for Lowndes and Seton...

Re: Albert Park V8 Qualifying

What has FPR been doing to be that far off the pace, as far as I know the cars are not new so what are their excuses.
Its good to see Radisich up there but apart from that not much to be positive about, atleast its not a Championship round.

Maybe the Prodrive engines don't function well in the Aussie heat!

Re: Albert Park V8 Qualifying

someone on another forum suggested that FPR may be using this as a big test weekend. i hope Ambrose can push up the pack a bit more come racetime.

I've been home sick too, today, however I just have a feeling most of the Fords aren't really pushing it.

Re: Albert Park V8 Qualifying

Duuuude!

Dont worry for a second. This is nothing, first off it's only qualifying (with the shoot out yet to come, oh and lets not mention the THREE RACES) in a non championship round! I honestly wouldn't care if Skaifey took out all 3 races and pole, it to be honest means nothing, yet.
FPR who have not yet tested could very well be testing and trying new stuff, the AGP has allways been a place where mindgames are played and no one should/would be woried.

We'll have to wait 'till Adelaide to get a scope on the season..

Re: Albert Park V8 Qualifying

Electrical problems in both FPR cars are apparently to blame for their qualifying efforts.
