Ambrose/Ingall ??

I dont know but have stone brothers said who they are pairing for the longer races. Will it be Ambrose and Ingall?
Also for Round 8 of the V8 supercars K-mart should have a VY up and running.

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

SBR have made no official announcement about driver pairings. I believe something should be announced at or before Oran Park.

Having said that, I would say that the title to this thread is substantially more likely than not....

Does that mean the handbag might stop complaining about having a old car all the time?

At least FPR can still rely on the tried and true 'new team' excuse...I wonder how long it's use-by date has to go (the excuse, not the team!)

I like the idea of a super pairing...but in the back of my mind it freaks me out too - something about having all your eggs in the one racing seat...

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

Mark Noske is at QR today testing with SBR and doing some very competitive times, so both cars look in with a shot.

Jason Akermanis took Mark Winterbottom's car for a burn, and spun it a few times.....

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

Wouldn't it make sense to have Ambrose/Winterbottom and Ingall/?.Keep them sep. They both are in with a shot at the title.A mechanical prob with an Ambrose/Ingall combo could be devastating.

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

This may be the Sandown package, with Mr Noske and Mr Winterbottom in the one car for Bathurst

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

While it would make a devistating racing package, Ambrose/Ingall togetherhave half the chance of finishing at bathurst. But remember all the back marker holdens that love to take out front running fords...

Re: Ambrose/Ingall ??

Remember DJR 2001. They put their 2 best drivers in one car. Lap 78 they were in 2nd when there motor died. That screwed them for the championship. I think it will be a bad idea for Ambrose and Ingall to pair up.
