I know that you guys already know that he's an idiot but here's another good reason.
While he was behind Max Wilson he was talking to his team and said "If this C... doesn't get out of the F...ing way I'll F...ing turn him around".
Even though he's a great driver his personality and patience is'nt that good.
Skaife is a idiot i need no proof. He is like most other professional racers ie- Schumaker, till it all comes tumbling down and one pays the ultimate price, ie Senna. They live for their sport and winning so to speak nothing else matters to then, though his how true champions are to be honest. Their interpersonal skills true are lacking but you would expect that. I met Glen Seton once , a great fellow wish all drivers were like him so maybe not all professional racer dudes need to be wankers after all?
they were fighting for positon iirc. the was an inicdent coming on the main straight, skaife went up the inside(pits) and nearly hit the pit wall as wilson held his line. then he was on the radio bullshitting, then up onto the sweeper grach or who ever was on saying that they had reported him.
Can anyone provide details of 'official action' as to the following incidents:
* HRT seeking action against Max, at MS request;
* SJ having to give way the MS;
* did anyone at 00 ask for TK's poor sportsmanship flag?
I read in the Herald-Sun newspaper that after the race Skaife said during a interview "We knew we were going to win"
Now that's bloody arrogant ! :fmad:
Now that I've finally watched the Race 2 tape and heard the in car audio from Skaife when he was trying to pass Wilson I can only wonder what disciplinary action will be taken.
Apart from the sheer arrogance of what was said we have precedents in the series for large fines being issued to those who have "brought the sport into disrepute".
I cannot see any other spin that can be put on the language or tone used and will await the disciplinary committees decision eagerly.
