SO Seton and Bessy get AUs and CL gets AU with BA skin, or BA with AU engine and mechanicals, or something.

The AUs are possibly GSRs old cars?

Word from FPR is not to expect to set the world on fire in '03. A few podiums are all that's being aimed for. '04 is the real attack on the title..

With respect to lowdnes car - thats going to be so similar to the new cars that it doesn't matter - not much is changing under the hood don't forget, its the downforce generated by the cars that has everyone ticked off, with a new shell this won't be the case anymore will it?

Cannot help feeling a little disappointed. I was really looking forward to having Ford represented by the Barra's this year, especially the FPR team.

5 years is getting just too long to wait for a Ford comeback.

Geez why cant they reskin the other 2 Cars if Lowndes car is getting the make over it would at least look more Professional the official factory team in old cars for the first race doesnt sound too good.
Could this be due to a lack of Aero kits for the BA
Which Chassis are they racing - Seto's AU or other

I would have thought GSR would have been preparing at least one for the opening rounds & also would have thought FPR could grab the test car Ford used at Bathurst until they had enough cars of there own

There is basically only one aftermarket BA shell builder (Beehag) they would be a little busy at the moment trying to build 17 or so and have them all ready by the end of this month.

The Commodores are built by another supplier and are much easier as it's basically only the rear 1/4 panels that have changed so there would not be as much work involved.
