Audi no longer the V8SC pacecars

It was reported in todays Daily Telegraph that Audi will no longer be the pace car for the 2005 season of V8 supercars.

Apparently people watching V8's isn't in Audi's target market. Toyota also declined.

so how about it FPV??

Well DRRRR.

I never understood the logic in the first place. I think there should be one FPV and one HSV, but maybe a DJR 320 and a PWR enhanced Holden would be the go. I think they have to pay a hell of alot of mone for the previlage.
