I just heard on Sports Tonight that the FIA will give Barrichello the win in Austria, and Michael second place. Thus Michael would lose 4 points.
These are the points standing after FIA's decision
1 Michael Schumacher 66
2 Ralf Schumacher 27
= Juan Pablo Montoya 27
4 David Coulthard 26
5 Rubens Barrichello 20
6 Jenson Button 8
7 Kimi Räikkönen 7
8 Giancarlo Fisichella 6
9 Nick Heidfeld 5
10 Jarno Trulli 4
11 Felipe Massa 3
= Eddie Irvine 3
13 Mark Webber 2
= Heinz-Harald Frentzen 2
= Mika Salo 2
Here's betting that their appeal won't be upheld... not that it really matters schuey should wrap up the title within the next few races anyway with or without those 4 points
I suspect that this announcement is a tad premature. There would also appear to be no way the FIA rules for this to happen but this is F1 too!!
