My point was that its the same car thats blatantly faster than the rest, correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt the Monaro have that 427 engine that was going to go into some street Monaro couple of years back but never did, and since then its been allowed to run with the same specs. Its not really a fair event if the cars are not even.

As long as the "Monaro's" run in their current state, the Bathurst 24Hr is a crock of shit IMO - When their engine is rectified let us know.

I am with XR6HP01 on this subject - we have already covered the fact that Monaros are not allowed to race with their 427 spec engine! As the saying goes - if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all!

For those of us that went and supported the Ford teams last year (unlike those that sit here in front of their computers and never support any Ford teams but love claiming the win when they do well), I look forward to seeing you all again this year!

Last year's Brock 24Hr was a great 4 days away, this year will be even better now that the Monaros wont dominate!!

I look forward to seeing Team GT's new cars and livery there again!

But this is exactly what I thought untill about a month ago when I was corrected and told that again this year they'll have the 427 in there?!

If the Monaro runs without it, then great, long live the event... but I'm adamant that someone one these forums assured us that again this year they'll be running exactly the same spec as last year, it was not untill 05 that they would change?
