The K-mart car is flying at the moment. I wonder If any one will get a 2min 07 this year. Mark Skaife had the quickes car last year he recorded a 2min 08.10.

Everyone playing around at the moment and you can bet SBR are not concerned in setting fastest lap times, more interested in race pace. Id' hazard a guess and say HRT are going harder to determine which car/engine Skaife gets.

To put Bessies time into perspective, last year in P2 Lowndes, Bowe and Ambrose where all in the 2.09's driving AU's.

Its hard to compare last year though, different temps, different surface etc etc.
888 are up there too. Its early days yet, and really, wont know anything till the qualifying session is over. 1 guarantee though is the #4 car will qualify in the top ten. 1 more practice tomorrow to go yet, plus all night to find that something extra.

Good to atleast see the CAT car on pace with the top enders. Lets just hope she'll last the distance.
