British Tin-top titan Triple Eight is expected to be on the grid at sandown next month for the beginning of its assult on v8 Supercars.

Triple Eight's multi-millionaire backers are zeroing in on Briggs Motorsport which is now officially on the market.

A deal is very close to being done.

So they are running Ford BA's with Canto and Radisich still behind the wheel?

Im not sure i would think that they would continue to run with BA Falcons and i would hope that they continue to run them next year.

888 wants to retain Paul Radisich for '04 and it looks likely that Yvan Muller will be his teammate.

I had been hearing that 888 might change to Holden, I doubt they would do that this year, but next year is a possibility, will depend if Ford want to keep them in the fold. Radisich is a contracted Ford driver if i remember right, so if 888 goes Holden, they might not get the Rat

Sounds good i hoped they would be but i was unsure as they run Vauxhalls in the BTCC.

Sounds great there is going to be a lot of very competitive BA Falcons next year i think.

888 is not tied to any manufacturer.

We were all whinging about how the British TWR was running HRT not there are 2 Ford teams run by the poms

I would have thought seeing that 888 were running Vauxhall Astras in the BTCC they they would have been affiliated with GM?
Anyway. On another note, will John Bowe change his car number from 888 to avoid any confusion about who he drives for?
