Well finally i got to calder and gave the XR8 a workout. I had three runs the best being 14.9 @ 91.4 MPH not bad for a stock XR8 with just a K&N filter.
After i get the gearbox fixed i'll be doing the exhaust from the cats back with electronic cut outs and i will be heading back to calder. As for the bug that bit me when i was 19
14.9 is only the start, you will be amazed at how much more you will be able to shave off.. well done for actually getting out there are giving it a go !
Yes that was my first time in this car. I will be racing it more but not sure how often as i found out yesterday that i'm going to be a dad in 7-8 month time
Thanks guys ..at first i didn't think my time were that good but i talked to a few guys on the night and they convinced me there were for a standard XR8. I'm sure they'll be better next time when i stop getting the clutch out before getting it into gear and i will get the RT times down to. Also next time i'll be running a pipe from the air box to the left brake duct that i have in the spoiler
