Calder park wont be used in next years v8 supercars. Tony Cochrane discontinued the track even though there was one year left on the contract.

Calder was lucky to get the round this year, avesco put it through a major safety audit before confirming the round there if my information is correct....

I live 10 minutes away from Calder but now i have to travel all the way to Sandown to see the V8's which is 45 or so minutes away :fmad:
But i have to say the racing at Calder was boring anyway.
Oh well :(
