Sunday Telegraph, you don't want to start believing things you read in the PPB. (peoples picture book). Either Dick is squeezing Broadmeadows for a little extra asistance or he's hell late with his 2004 april fools joke.

Re: Dicky to Holden ???????

certainly lots of rumors around about DJR at the moment, with them moving to holden, being up for sale, and hiring garth tander/craig lowndes, and losing shell sponsorship all at the same time.

On DJR Club 17 they said earlier that they had resigned ford as a sponsor and were in discussions with shell and that an announcement was not too far off...

I'd say that we are in for a helluva silly season rumor wise, how much truth is behind them is anyones guess

Re: Dicky to Holden ???????

I'd say it might be one hell of an ultamadum(sp) to his drivers...."Win a bloody race, or we'll switch to Holden!"

Re: Dicky to Holden ???????

I read this as well in this mornings paper. The Telegraph is true to the saying "Never believe what you read in the papers".

I think it would be a bad business decision for DJ to change to Holden. He would lose far more support than he would gain.

Re: Dicky to Holden ???????

if Dick joins the dark side, Holden must have thrown a lot of money at him to even consider something like this..
Dick Johnson going over to Holden that would be like the pope becoming a protestation..

You guys probably haven't seen the Tui billboards we have over here - basically it's for a beer, and has a statement, and then "yeah right" - this would make a perfect one of those.
