Whats the go with this "craze" in locking threads.???
If it was read properly!!! it would be seen that it was refering to Ambroses Puncture... which was it fact NOT caused by the spike in the curb...
As has been said many many times before, if you have a problem with a thread being locked PM the moderator/admin involved with it, do not start a thread about it.
Given that a craze is defined as "faddish behaviour indulged in by many" - I don't think closing the odd thread really meets the description.
Nor (much as it may surprise you) do we actually receive any vicarious form of pleasure from it.
Personally I would be more than happy if I never closed another thread (dream). I also know that for as long as there are people who allow their typing fingers to perform faster than their brains can possibly follow that it will continue to be necessary.
