Reminds me of an interesting scene I saw on way to work in Sydney this week.
A certain "Goose", who shall remain nameless, in a mean green snarling cat machine, pulling up at traffic lights in Seven Hills, and asking directions from some geezer in a smokie old truck. Seemed to take him ages to get the directions right, or they were very detailed. Much waving of hands and pointing ensued.
Then our said Gold Star hero did a quick u-turn, through a servo and gunned it back the other way, in a great hurry...
i heard on the news that someone lost control of a white porsche with pink sponsorship and was killed, his co driver air lifted to some hospital in a serious condition.
does anyone know anythnig about it??? they never named names...

would put a damper on the event for sure
I thought that must have been this event. Heard it on the news updates in the last couple of hours. They said it was near Bathurst.
Absolute tragedy.

Found this event so much more enjoyable to photograph than the V8's, there was a variety of cars, and they took a number of different lines thru the corners, and weren't afraid to get a bit of attitude going, not like the sanitised, clinical display you get from the V8's, the lack of 349857230 spectators getting in the way also helped, anyhow on with the pics
