Toyota are making a Return for the 2003 season, and Mitsubishi and SUbaru are doing well in it. So I see it only logical that the Focus should compete using ex WRC cars.

Cobra, will they be full WRC spec cars (like Bourne and Bates last year) or production cars as being run this year?

I agree that it would be a great way to promote the Focus and would make the category even more interesting (I've always like rallying...)

the ARC is a fully group N championship, no group A, or WRC cars allowed. that is this year anyway and im sure that wont change for next year.

I doubt that it will change next year. The current system works fine.

Ohh sorry I thoguht they all were ex WRC cars. Ahh well, shows how much I know about the series. The main thing I was askign was will the Focus compete in the ARC. I really hope so.

Does the Focus qualify for Group N or should I say is there a version of the Focus that would be competitive in GroupN?

I read in Motorsport News Yesterday that Ford have been talking with Simon Evans who currently runs a WRX in the ARC.

Would be very good for the series if Ford were to get involved.
