After watching R3 at Hidden Valley I started to wonder are the Ford Teams/Drivers starting to help each other out. When the pace car came out at the start of the race after Toddler crashed (hahaha) the pit window opened and everyone pitted during the pace car period . Except for Canto. Once the Pace Car left the track and racing resumed Ambrose passed Canto at the end of the main straight then Canto tucked straight in behind Ambrose and stayed there for the remainder of the lap before Murphy and Bright passed. Is this the reason why Canto did not pit? It did give Ambrose a good gap over Murphy. I can't think of any other reason why 1 car out of the whole field would not pit at that time in the race as there would be no advantage to be gained .
