Ford engines - hand grenades?

Are the Ford teams building their engines wrong? The Rat, Steve Ellery and Max Harris all blew their engines on Sat at Adelaide.

Yes the last 15 laps were very good. I hope ford start to see they have to spend their money on fewer teams. Spreading the money as they are is never going to haul back HRT. Motorsport is all money.

Quality not quantity. Yes, and the ford engine is a peice of shit that blows up. Still, it isn't as bad as an LS1.

i think there is alot of bullshit happening behind the scenes with regards to ford team in general. i mean bob forbes must have a ****ing few screws loose in his head to just let gibson go or what ever happened. he knows how to run a team he knows how to win someone like marsden should have stepped in and did something or do something u just dont throw away a talented man like gibson.

FORD = ****ED ON RACE DAY. It's true. They were ****ed, thier engines were ****ed and thier performance left little to be desired.

Now now! Take it easy mate.. im a Geelong / Ford supporter but theres no need to get like that. Every winning streak comes to an end EVENTUALLY. Sure its a pain in the backside (a REAL PAIN!!!) but being like that wont get us anywhere mate :) Its got me stumped 2... ill just sit it out like i have for a while.. things will come good mate... EVENTUALLY : )

Someone I was talking to reckons the motors let go so often because they are right on the limit to make up for lacking aerodynamics.

Seems odd that all of a sudden people are losing engines...
Apart from DJR's losses at Hidden Valley last year, they've been quite reliable. What has changed??? Assembly methods? Parts suppliers??? Either way I hope the boys find an answer!!

What will happen when the AV comes out?? We will have two supposedly road-car based racers, not running the factory available engines?? Will Cochrane change the rules??

Ed :)
