Fords are sh!t!!!!!

Well in V8Supercars anyway.
Dear Ford, We desperately need a Factory Team and there's no way in the world that we can win championships the way that we are going.
We need Prodrive to come in and give us support as TWR do to HRT/Kmart.
I'm just fed up with this bullsh!t !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fmad:

Yeah it is hard to take see those cars that much better in the season opener. The problem witht he testing limitations makes it worse. If they are serious about not killing the sport they have to allow the lower placed teams more testing time and restrict what HRT can do.

When its all said and done you have to admire the new wheel nut system they came up with. Full credit to HRT.

oh the pain,

someone correct me if Im wrong.

Race 1
1. Holden
2. Holden
3. Holden

Race 2
1. Holden
2. Holden
3. Holden

Round 1
1. Holden
2. Holden
3. Holden

Bright fight back was excellent, I wonder if Bright wasnt there if Lowndes could have made 3rd.

and the new wheel changer over system, and pit times I think they were 1-2 seconds ahead of any other team

Well at least Ford had a win in the celebrity race.

If winning races means selling more cars than Ford need to turn it around before the AV comes out

How come HRT were allowed there special wheel nut arrangement yet Gibsons wasn't last year?

It seems more of the Follow TWR Show this year

Marsden's head has to roll for the state of Ford supercar teams. We have to have a full funded and supported factory team to take on TWR.
TWR is in another league. Take TWR out of the equation then you have a Holden versus Ford competition but TWR do not have a equal adversary.
Ford has to contract Prodrive to operate this team otherwise Ford will be constantly embarrassed by Holdens racing dominance

It is true that Gibson tried to make the process quicker. They changed the laws to be more specific. HRT looked at the laws and kept the nut separate to the wheel.

It does go against the spirit of trying to keep the cost down so it will be interesting to see what they do if anything. They aren't cheating just using their budget to the full limitations of the law.
But now to remain competitive the others have to follow and that will push their cost up.

I think strife has really summed up our frustrations. Lowndes drove an awesome race as did Ambrose until...but they really seemed to be the only Fords in the race.
