"I understand that the FPR prodrive race team is committed to running only 2 of the new BA Falcons at the Sandown/Bathurst double this year.
The third franchise, the L2 used for car #19, will not be used by the FPR team for these events. This is made possible by the team being required to participate in only 80% of events in 2003. There is a requirement on all franchise holders to attend all events longer than 400km, however it seems that there is an automatic exemption if required for leased franchises.
The pairings are likely to be Seton/Lowndes and Besnard/Kelly for these 2 races, presumably in CAT & Ford Credit liveries respectively.
The question may well be asked as to whether Besnard is getting a BA Falcon this year....."
