FPV merch

Hey, anyone that attended Bathurst can you shed any light on what the FPV merchandise was like.

Any Jackets?

Was it good looking.

Anyone buy anything?

Thankx

I had a good look at the FPV merchandise and was disappointed. I expected a pretty classy and comprehensive range of gear but it was inferior to the DJR or 00 Motorsport gear in presentation, range and quality. Not cheap either.

There was no catalogue to browse through. I had a close look at one of the $250 jackets. It was 100% nylon with some sort of spray coating to make it 'shower proof'. Pretty poor I thought.

I'd be interested in the thoughts of others who saw it.

i had a bit of a look and thought that it wasnt too bad

yeh the jacket left a bit to be desired for the price, but some of the shirts and caps were alright. The key rings are excellent IMO hence I now have one on my keys - now to get the car to match!

did anyone see the bar mats they had there? they were awesome!

I'm sure the guys & gals at FPV will have a full range of Merchandise out shortly.. The brand has only just been launched! Give them a chance to get the gear ready!

Exactly FM considering the lead time needed for design, production and delivery I thought the range was ok. Too much white in the jacket for my liking though, race tracks are not exactly the cleanest of places after all. I ended up with a mug, polo shirt, and long sleeve tee (big thank you to wife Jill).

Yeah the bar mats were really great, shame I don't have a bar.

BTW did anyone at the track see the drawing of the raffle ticket for the Monaro on the big screen? That was my missus, all decked out in her 00 gear. The organisers thought it was a hoot that a Ford fan was involved.

Flag competition is great - Basically make a flag with your favorite ford car on it and they look out for the best one in the crowd - winner gets an XR8 ... cool eh :s5

In previous years John they have a banner competition which viewers voted on. Again the winner received a car. Some were enormous efforts, moving parts, fireworks all sorts of things.

If you are coming out next year for the race let us know and we can give you the details if it is being run again.
