future for 5.0L in V8 supercars?

Does anyone know how much longer the 5.0L's are going to power the V8 Supercars? with the 5.7 Vrs 5.4 battle that's gonna hit the streets next year. Where's that going to leave our supercars? i think a dose of extra Cubes and technology could be an interesting change!
Any Thoughts?

Nothing will change until the USA start racing seriously with these engines I would suggest.

On top of this, the parity of the 2 cars are even nowadays, introducing a new engine would throw that up in the air again, not to mention the knowledge/stocks of the current engine here in Aus and the major costs associated in developing a new engine.

In summary, i'd say the engines won't change for many years.
