As reported in motorsport news the rumour suggests that ford are less then impressed with the situation with this team and specifically the sponsorship side of things.

The team claims there have been some movement on the sponsor issues but a team manager is still some time off. Allen Heaphy is currently running the team in the Fred style

Hell I would be pissed too..

I hope they get their shyte together for this season. Last thing we need is Lowndesy walking back to the General (even though I don't think that'll happen)

Yeh I would of thought they would have had some sort of contract with Gibbo I don't think his left them with a very good situation

In the same article Craig stuck the teams hand up as one that could answer the call of Howard and knock HRT off.

Well I guess that's what matters really.

On the sponsorship side of things I thought that Hewlett Packard were going to be major sponsors this year for gms. Has anyone else heard about this?

Craig still seems adamant ford will trimph over Holden soon and he also sounds Like he want's to be a part of it, even if he was to work a little harder for it, that inclsudes getting over come hurdles from the off-track disputes whcih he has no control over.

Look I changed my mind about Craig before he switched and was fortunate to have some very good conversations with him after he joined Ford. While I still have a preference for Seto, what has happen to Craig and the team is such a disappointment. Left a team that was full of crap and ended up in crap of a different kind.

It is just about impossible not to like the guy. It is really that simple. I just wish someone would get their act together and allow the guys to go racing without the side show!

He's the only possible hope against hrt team.

Fred Gibson won't be with the team yes. Seems as though Freds involvement with the team isn't what was originally claimed in the press in the first place

You got that right. he's a top bloke and I was priveledged to talk to him for a couple of minutes at the Speed trials in Geelong. I really hope everything works out for him and he has only to concentrate about his driving and nothing else. It would be a shame to waste such talent due to team management problems. I really do Hope him and ambrose are in a fully backed ford race team for the laucnh of the BARRA race car in 2003.
