In the NHRA Drag Racing series, Toyota are running a Celica Funny Car. Now, neglecting NASCAR (a front drive Taurus becomes a rear drive V8 stock car) where at least the manufacturers have a history of making the right type of cars, how can Toyota link a Celica Funny Car with anything they make or ever made???

Currently on the box as I type. They're seeing a few upsets in this round and Kenny Bernstein was knocked out in the first round. Top Fuel points leader is Dixon in the Miller Lite car.

Well, the SillyCar made it to the final round against the Skoal Chevy Camaro (who made a 6.9 second run at 45 degrees with the bags lit up the whole way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

However, the SillyCar was beaten by the Skoal Chev in a tyre frying race where both cars went down the strip for the WHOLE WAY with smoke pouring from the rears. Talk about horsepower! (Rob Herrod, yeah mate, I need more power!!!!!)

Larry Dixon Miller Lite Top Fuel against Doug Herbert Snap-On in the final. Dixon wins with 4.61 sec and 319mph (Herbert fried the tyres).

Dixon 1142 points leading Bernstein by 259 points in the championship.
