Well, while everyone was chearing about Murphy running out of fuel, (hahahahahaha)I was fumeing about the restart.

Did anyone else notice how the car behind Murphy was not hammering it down the straight, and was keeping Besnard behind him.

All while Murphy canned it down the straight.

And the car keeping everyone else up???

A BLOODY HOLDEN!!!!!!

If this is not a case of Holden cheating, I will be a monkeys uncle!!!

At the end of the straight, Murphy had a substantial lead. If he hadn't run out of petrol (hahahahahahaha), this could of been the difference between winning and second place.

Sure, we won anyway, but it is things like this is the reason why i hate Holden.

(And Bowe should of been on the podium)

And perhaps think back to a particular Bathurst in which Paul Morris caused a similar problem by getting in the way of one of the lead cars and putting him out of the race (i think). Can't remember who the lead car was.

Not cheating, Murph was front runner - he decides when to nail it after safety car goes off. There were 2 backmarkers behind him, which were slower cars - Besnard and Murph were both quicker - so Murph took off while Besnard had to wait until he crossed the start line until he could overtake.

Bowes incident was prob a bit marginal but he did hit Tander and push him well offline. Tander did lock a brake and may have run wide but if you lock a brake you are not slowing as fast as normal so Bowe must have really be going in deep to hit him. Unfortunate as the Ozemail team deserved to be on the podium.

That is BS and you know it. The whole feild was bunching up behind that car, while Murphy was off. After the start finish line, that second car, (and I can't remember who it was) hammered it as well, and Besnard had to race hard to get past him.

And those are the facts as I see them!

It's not cheating, it's playing to the rules as laid out for everyone. I was not happy with it either b ut that's how it is. In theory the starter should not have waved the green - it should have been waved off with a yellow.

At the end of teh argument is the issue of sportsmanship and I have never regarded Paul Morris as a true sportsman, let alone whoever the other guy was. Having said that, Paul Morris was hand-tied in this case as well.

Paul Morris is the driver I hate most out of all V8 drivers...incl. Skaife. The case that pissed me off was Bathurst last year when he very obviously held up Lowndes and other Fords for lap after lap even though he was being lapped and the year B4 when he took out Seto on the first corner. As well as being a bad sportsman he's a shitty driver as well.

well if anything the ford teams are DUMB..thye always stuff up strategy and never look out for each other..cos they all want to be the first ford to break the holdens winning streak...ford take out other fords all the time and all we can do is bang our heads against the wall
