HRO or whatever- Are we going to take this laying down?
I'd hope not.
This transaction between M. Skaife and Holden we know damn well is a load of bs. Now, I want to know if TEGA/AVESCO/Ford/VESC fans are goingto do anything about this. I highly doubt that any action will be taken on the part of AVECO/TEGA.
As yet there has been no word as I am aware on the other HRO teams, but I am almost certain that an equally questionable decision is made.
Holden keep cheating and the governing bodies keep letting them getting away with it. Shame shame shame...
Will something be done, or am I just living in a dreamworld?

As both a ford and a holden fan (it does happen!) I dont see why we cant just build a bridge and get over it and focus on the racing. Even with holden complying (yes they are!) you guys still whinge. Or, you could just post on here complaining about everything Holden does..if you are that kind of sad person i feel sorry for you.
We have a great sport with great teams - why spoil it with this constant negative attitude that surrounds these forums.
Whats the problem now?
Holden have submitted a solution that has been APPROVED by AVESCO, Skaife owns HRT, Kees Weel owns Team Brock, even if SkaifeMotorsport™ Leases a franchise to run K-mart racing, they are still legally entered in the championship therefore they have enough franchises to run ALL the cars, they have complied with all the rules to AVESCO's satisfaction, can we not just leave the issue in the past and get on with the racing!
Does this take the 'control freak' to another level??? Seriously though, does this make Skaifey another of that dieing breed of racedriver know as owner-drivers such as Larko and formerly Glenn Seton??

Welcome to the forums,some say it's addictive....blah,blah.
Firstly you are either FORD or holden, not both. Whilst one can appreciate a good car you are in one camp or the other, not both.
Secondly can you categorically prove that holden are complying.
Thirdly, this is probably one of a very few forums where outright whinging without some sort of evidence is not approved of and tries to steer clear of negative input in the main.
Apart from that enjoy your stay, you can check out but you can never leave.
I can understand some people getting upset about the ownership and this "raw deal." However who expected anything different? I say lets just get on with the racing and let the Ford drivers punish HRT for us. GO FORD!!!!!!!!!!

my two bob is that it was always going to happen. if skaife can be an owner off track and top 5 on track, then he deserves a hats off. i mean im not a skaife fan just cos of his attitude (bright is worse, dont get me start on purhpy), but to do both is a very big achievement. mixed in family time with that (referring to the glen seaton article in Autoaction on race vs family time) and you got one busy guy that would usually burn himself out.
my question is where does the money come from? not just for buying the team but for running it for the next ten years? sure sponsorship, but who sponsors? is it holden? if so how much can they give him before its gets suspect on acutaly ownership.
hey I have no problem with Skaife buying HRT, but can anyone tell me if he has bought it.
It is being said its a 10 year deal, that confuses me, if he has bought it, there should be no time limit on it, he pays for it, its his.
Sounds more like its a lease, and if thats the case, Holden still own HRT, which is no resolution.
Just my opinion after reading the article, can anyone clarify this?
