Of course HRT would deny using TC .
Bright said that a V8Supercar does'nt produce enough wheelspin to benifit from TC and that TC would'nt make the car go faster but instead reducing a driver into an error.
Personally i don't think that they are using TC but i do think that they are cheating in other areas.
HRT are a bunch of cheating pr!cks and some one has to do something about it before the series dies.
I'll probably go and blow the HRT workshop up if that will help other teams (including other Holden teams) to win the championship and i'm not joking!

Maybe not, but they certainly are allowed to bend the rules quite a bit.

I'm showing my age alittle here but remember when the factory H.O's[late 60's &70's] had more power than every one else? One of the reasons was they used longer conrods and or put the pistons in so the offset was opposite to the way it should have been.In theory making rod longer, the engine was noisy, but this is a race engine and it made more power. H.R.T can easy do similar things....

I'd love to see HRT have the panhard rod and NOT the ford set up with Watts link!!! If the road going one is SOOOO good!!
Now they want the wishbone/Ford type front end...f.f sake!!
Whats Ford to do? Install a Gen lll {with a big oil scavenge tank in the boot to keep oil up to it} Hahahaha

Thats right, they dont cheat...they just work bloody hard.

HRT sort of remind me of the Ferrari in the F1. They work damn hard at finding holes in the rules where gains can be made that other teams havent caught on to. Technically its not cheating. But morally, and in the interest of the sport it is cheating. How can it be a close competition if one team is always one step ahead? But how are you sposed to progress if you dont develop new and improved methods?

There is no point everyone whinging about it though...the other teams just have to pull their fingers out and work harder! Either that, or the rules need to be looked at and tightened up more. but no matter what the rules are, someone will find a way to do something that is not really intended...but is not illegal.

But its bloody easier just to say they are cheating bastards! Lets pin 'em with everything we've got!

BS! They don't bend the rules, if you are complaining about the wheelnuts read the technical regulations, they clearly state that and I quote from the regulations:

"Where centrelock wheel fixing (single wheel nut) is used, it is not permitted for the centrelock nut to be retained in either the wheel or the wheel gun; the nut must be fully detached from the replacement wheel while it is being fitted to a car during any wheel changing operation."

that clearly shows how the wheel nuts as used by HRT are legal, and is not bending the rules.
If you have any other example of how they might be bending the rules please share them, I would be happy to debunk the BS!

After reading ebxr8240's post im just going to have to say it again:

Holdens should not be allowed to use the ford front suspension! When will this stop? Soon the entire car (except the shell) will be made from parts that arent holden. Maybe consumer affairs should be getting in on this and making them put fine print on the holden side skirts telling everyone that what they are seeing is actually a ford / hollinger / chev car in a holden shell...

In the words of Howard Marsden: "...when are they going to put the FORD badge on it???"

You can keep going on about the front suspension being used next year being Ford based but all they are beating you now without it. HA!

And by the way when every ford front bumper and undertray destroyed itself everytime there was a minor "off" and even when on the track it didn't perform, what was the answer?

Give them the Holden designed undertray but call it "generic"

The issue with suspension is appout technical as well as performance parity. Should the change see an increase in Holden performance, that will be offset by some other measure. The issue isn't parity of vehicles it is parity of teams.

If the system holden has now is so good, and they can beat fords by so much without it, then why the hell do they want it?

And with the front bumber / undertray - Ford werent allowed to use their original kit, so this was basically botched together. And so what if they used the "holden designed undertray"? That has nothing to do with anything! Whereas the ford suspension is pretty much exactly the same as in their road cars.

As you would well know, when it comes to road cars, the falcons hold on a lot better than some other special vehicles :btonge:
