biggrin I say - Go the brutes!!

For factory vs factory the brutes are the ones to watch.. Parity weight plate for the 'oldens 5.7L jobbies and the comp is unreal. Great race to watch!

And ford drivability and engineering really show through!

Holdens have a reduced rev limit too, but great series to watch.

Have been to a couple of rounds now. One of the girls at work is the Bad Boy's partner so go along and support them.

I was under the impression that the holden cars had an increase reve limit of another 200 rpm over the fords because the ford ute was killing the holden through the corners? Have they re-adjusted the rev limits again?

Congratulations Ambrose on winning the championship in 2003

Yes, it was said at sandown that the holdens have an increased rev range of 250rpm and that they have changed the springs on the commodore to help it through the corners because it wasn't keeping up with the falcon. Have they now brought the rev limit down again to even it up???

I would say that the Holdens were probably handicapped revs at the start of the season and then with the success of the Fords they decided to give them back some revs.

Anyone know whats happening next year, will the Falcon utes become BA 5.4's.

The Holdens were rev limited to about 5500rpm, they got another 150rpm from Winton on.
