Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Renault! I'd love to see him and Nick Heidfeld lead the Renault charge and shake up the top of the grid! The car looks like it has the potential to be up there next year as it already has some pretty good speed!

There's a rumour going around the F1 paddock that Irvine will go to ****** next season. If this ends up true i would'nt be surprised to see Webber at Jaguar.

Yeah It would be awesome if Mark ended up at Renault as they are definatly on the way up. However the chances of Mark getting a drive there are pretty slim :sad:. I guess thats the case with almost all the F1 teams at the moment. Esp all of the top ones.

However I did read that Toyota are quite interested in Webber though. If he could pick up a drive there that may not be a bad career move as Toyota are determined to get to the top. Also imagine if Briscoe got a drive there as well it could be an all Aussie driver line up . hmm just slightly optimistic

Webber has come to arguably the word team in F1 and wreaked such success never seen befroe in the history of Minardi. one could say Jaguars experience in F1 has been rather dissapointing since thier debut 3 years ago, so if it were to be that Webber did end up at Jaguar, could history repeat itself? I certainly hope so.

In the next few years Toyota will be a Championship contender and for Webber to go there would be fantastic. :s6:

Isn't Webber actually contracted by Renault? or at least to the team running Renault?

Yeah Webber is contracted to Renault however they also have a number of drivers on their books so it would be unlikely that he would be able to get a drive at Renault for 2003.

Still Minardi arn't dead yet though. So who knows that will happen.
