On the new front cover of AA it says that Ingall is searching for a new drive.
If Russell wants to win a championship he'll have to leave Perkins especially with Richo there.
Ingall at 00 Motorsport sounds pretty good to me :s6:

Ingall has been saying that having Richo at Castrol is good but i have a feeling that he hates it and that's one of the reasons that he wants to leave especially with Richards getting good results.
Which other Holden team can he go to in 2003?
GRM have Tander and Bargs, Kmart will have Kelly and Murphy.
Bright's contract runs out at the end of this season but it looks likely that he'll sign for another year or two.
Ingall hates HRT so him going there is very unlikely but anything can happen.
My best bet is that he'll go to Ford but who knows?
Maybe Holden will be more of a pr!ck than what they are now and set up another 2 car TWR team :dead:

Totally agree IMO if Holden was allowed to set up another 2 car TWR team it would kill the sport as we know it. Yeah sure the Holden nuts (fans to you and me) would love it but what sort of backlash would there be from the other teams.
I am a big fan of Russell and if he does leave Perkins Motorsport then I wish him well.
I honestly thought he would replace Larry when he retires.

The latest rumour is Russell going to DJR and Radisich to Briggs Motorsport.
Ingall said that there are three realistic options and while he would not elaborate on these options, they are rumoured to be DJR, Briggs and Stone Brothers Racing.
While all the rumours have him switching sides to Ford teams, Ingall said there will be just as many Holden options pop up by the end of the year.
"The rumours are circulating around Ford teams but there are strong possibilities of vacancies with two good Holden teams who are on the pace, there are just as many Holden teams as Ford," said Ingall.
"I'm still talking to Holden at the moment, it's not an inconcievable option I'll still be in a Holden.
"Whatever is going to be the best and most competitive option will be the one I'll take."
Two of the seats Ingall could be referring too are Jason Bright's and Garth Tander's, as their contracts with the Holden Racing Team and Garry Rogers Motersport team expire at the end of 2002.
Perkins, meanwhile was very tight lipped as to where he stands on the matter.
"He (Ingall) will be offered a contract, we are not due to negotiate until half-way through this year, whether he wants to take it up is in his court," said Perkins.

He shouldn't even get a look in the way he "bad mouths" the brand.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ingall in a Ford. Remember few (if any) drivers have any loyalty to one brand or another. They are only interested in competitive cars and race wins, it doesn't matter what brand of car they're driving.
