I watched the Ch10 news and they were saying that he WILL be leaving Castrol and will be signing a contract with Ford at the end of July most likely with Briggs Motorsport to drive the new AV CAT Falcon

Nothing signed yet apparantly so it'll be interesting to see where he ends up. All we need it to provide him with a competitive car or it's all for shyte..

Your exactly right. We will have some serious drivers just needing the right cars to take TWR down.

Interesting news indeed. Not sure if a Briggs prepared car would be an upgrade to what he currently drives.

I read in auto action this week that he was talking to BRIGGS about a drive and possibly talking to DJR about a drive in the #18

car, but the RAT still has another 12 months left on his contract.

The way things have been going lately, I think the whole philosophy behind the V8's needs to be different.....

Would someone please explain to me why it is possible for ONE team to consistently demolish EVERY other car in the category, including other SUPPOSEDLY the same vehicles....

Sure, we can give reasons such as driver, track, set up, weather conditions, money, etc, etc. But at the end of the day, there's got to be more to it.....

There is only one real reason why this is happening and it has everything to do with money. He who has the biggest budget is going to be tough to topple

It seems as though Russell is coming to a conclusion that it is going to be very difficult to beat those red cars in the same brand of car and that maybe it time for a change of brand.
