Donut King

Well in a race everybody did their best to lose, ford teams showed their cards on how they intended to hand over victory to holden in the main race this year.

Brad: Hey kim, was andys engine from the same batch as the one thats in our racecar? An engine failure would be a new way for us to screw up an otherwise promising weekend

Kim: lemme check!

JB: What can we do that would top andys effort of clipping the wall and ruining the tyre & steering though?



an SBR falcon (albeit an older model) shows that perhaps there is more tyre troubles to be expected on their cars again this year



wakefield shows that perhaps heavy contact early on in the race is not good for your cars longeivity



and finally, this team decides to show that the classic"beach it in the sandpit" manouver is still a very valid way to remove yourself from the running in the race



Finally the car of matthew white crosses the line first, billowing smoke out of the right hand rear corner...

that was one boring as race IMHO...

fords just falling out of the race or crashing or mechanical failures was a battle just making it to the end i reckon..
