Today in AA, CL confirms he will honour his contract with Ford, which finishes at the end of 2006. With which team is another matter. He wants to win the Championship in both makes so hopefully this should put to rest this "Lowndes back to Holden" shyte for at least 2 years.
Great news... Lets hope he stays with Ford beyond 2006

Actually, after this year, it's only one more year. He had a 5 year contract. He did two with Gibson/00 motorsport and is on his second year with FPR. That leaves next year only.
The big rumour in MotorSport News is that The Rat goes to FPR, Ingall to 888 and Lowndes to SBR. Ambrose, Lowndes & Ingall are all contracted directly to Ford, who then subcontracts them to the teams - I'm sure if the teams want Ford funding, they will do as they're told..

CL should have been with SBR from the start. Yes I know, give FPR time, but FFS!. You can plainly see CL's smile is still as wide as ever, but his eyes say a different story... he's not a happy chappy, and who can blame him. Moving teams now is not going to do any good for him at all,.. back to square one!, but then again staying at FPR is doing no better. I hope, and pray every Sunday at Church, FPR do something this season...but looks like my prayers are falling on deaf ears. What a waste of talent...
