The final round "Main Event" at Sydney's Eastern Creek will see a 1 x 100k race on Saturday and 2 x 150k races on Sunday, but all three races will be on the 2.8 kilometre short circuit. This has been done to differentiate the season finale from the round 3 event as well as give a different aspect for Network Ten's television coverage.
Mmmmm, looks like they will be running a marathon around a clothsline! What a stupid idea. Looks even worse than Winton back when it was a short track.
no Phillip Island.....off to off agin on again China (which racing fans arent happy about)
Stupid points score system....
knackered penalty system
its time for a change.....out with the old...in with the new
AVESCO is no different to any other organistion.....some people come in a score points by picking the low hanging friut....then the real managers who can create efficiencies move in....TC organise yourself a package and move on
Does the short track effectively cut through the Ingall/Skaife corner? Looks like there's stuff all places to pass on the short track, there's now just a series of doglegs.

so how will they stop them getting airborne when they crest the top of the camber out of turn 4 onto turn 9??? if you can pull two wheels off the deck in a road car, what will the V8s do?
Isn't that the same layout they used nearly 10 years ago when they ran a round at night?
