Marcus Ambrose to test NASCAR??? - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I heard on the news Marcus is going to be testing Nascar in the not to distant future, and that Ford or someone(only caught the end of the segemnt) have expressed interest in him as a possible 2004 driver.

Does anyne have any further information, cause it would be great for an Aussie to have a run with the Yanks and maybe even beat em at their own game.

Also a great shame for Ford fans here in OZ, Marcus is one of the brightest hopes for Ford's future here in the V8 Supercars, but I suppose if opportunity knocks like this, he would be crazy to say no.

Any further information regarding this matter would be appreciated

it's only a holiday and marcos does not want to drive a nascar.

Marcos is contracted to Ford, and if you extend the links its possible he could get a run in a Winston Cup team in the same brand of car, if that was his bent, and there was an opportunity available.

With some drivers, the achievement of a championship can dull the desire to keep doing it to win a second one. Perhaps Marcos is testing the waters for the future....
