ok fellas, for once my local newspaper has served a purpose and there is an article saying that both the PHR Cobra RA's and spares were sold to a guy in melbourne by the name of Geoff Munday.

Appartently they are being prepared by Les Small and the Advanced Vechile Design team in Melbourne and both are soon to be developed to race in the Bathurst 24 hour. There first runs will be at Phillip Island and Winton.

This is great news because from what ive seen and heard they are demons!

Anyone else heard of this?

Didn't they restrict the revs on those cars when they raced ? Somethin to do with parity , or on the lines of that . Wonder if that still aplies???

It was parity adjusted with various rev limit, weight and ride height adjustments when it raced in the GT-Performance category, it will be racing in the nations cup catrgory now, so the specifications of the car will be upgraded to keep it up with the rest of the nations cup competitors you would think.

Yes be interesting to see what sort off hurdle's they have to jump,to get there,but hopefully they make it and have some good result's with the RA.

I saw the Mustangs run at the AGP support race last year, and while they were by no means the fastest car in the class, they certainly had the sweetest engine note by far. Good to hear it will be back.
