Doesn't it seem a little strange that a team caught testing illegally has been
punished, partly, by starting the next two races one lap down. Essentially
this reduces these races, for them, into another two *GASP!* extra testing
days.

hahaha, never thought of it like that, but you are so so right. Mr Wills is going to the supreme court, says the decision has not been handled right, lets just kick the man out

Bah. It's a crock. Not enough monetary fine, another two test days. They both aren't in contention for any placing in the championship anyway. they should be made to race, starting on the same lap, however their test days should be at least halfed for the next two years, or they should be banned from testing completely.

Taking testing days next year both penalises their speed and their money. Sponsers
may go for the team getting bad publicity, some Dodo or another, just because they're
in the spotlight.
Why should they potentially gain anything?
Would these unreliable smash 'n' grab on the image of the sport sponsers be as keen
if the team were likely to spend next year running around near or at the back of the grid?

I like the sound of that more.
much much better.
It might be good thing to fine them a percentage of their income from sponsor and all, before tax either monthly or at the end of the year.
