I still can't believe how they passed this one up and have probably robbed our country of a V8 Supercar race for a good decade or so. A couple of business men have plans for a motorsport complex next to Meremere raceway (I think) and even the Maoris have agreed to it (****, what a suprise) so there is still hope. I'm not holding my breath tho.
There will still be a race in NZ, I heard on the news Avesco is definatly going to have a race in New Zealand, how could that not there is far too much money to be had for Mr Cochrane
No, I don't think it was over the top. I hate Aucklanders, always have. You think you own this f*cking country. You think you're the only people on earth who have traffic problems. You think everyone's life has to revolve around you whiney fags sitting at your nice quiet cafes while you sip your f*cking lattes. You dorks are going to get Wetstern Springs (the best f*cking midget track in the world) closed down because it's too f*cking noisey. Get your f*cking heads out of your asses and think outside your own puny f*cking world.
Steady on there Tiger
There are some of us Aucklanders who wanted the V8s, and who didnt vote in the Cereal Mayor
Just because there are some wankers around in Auckland, doesnt mean we are all the same. Just like some Holden drivers are dickheads and others arent.
Western Springs isnt closing down due to Auckland citizens speaking up to stop the council
As Ambrose_1 said, you are over the top

The NZ contract lasts until 2010 I think, but after Pukekohe next year, there won't be one track that will be able to host them, unless somebody gets off their arses and do something about it (Wellington council maybe?), or spends a shit load of maoney on our current tracks.
