But seeing Ingall seems to attract hits from Murphy like a magnet, perhaps its better to send him out in a decoy car and pair Ambrose up with a someone in the rear seat with a shotgun looking backwards.......

Thats a classic XWGT.

I think the main issue here will be if the sponsors allow it, we've gone through this so many times before i suppose only time will tell.

I thought they were going to announce something this week/early next week.

I know both Marcos and Rusty are keen to drive together and I think the Stone Brothers are as well.

Something was mentioned about a zipper theme on both cars the it is 1/2 Pirtek and 1/2 Caltex sponsership.

I think they will be racing together. I have noticed that there is Pirtek sponsorship on the caltex car. Well we have some strong combos this year for bathurst. Looks good. GO FORD!!!

Ross Stone said on RPM that SBR wants to run Ambrose/Ingall together but it's up to the sponsors and an announcemant will be made in the next week or so.

I think that will be bad. Look what happened to DJR in 2001. The Engine blew. It wiped DJR out for the rest of the sesson in the championship.
